This easy-prep, quick-cook recipe is great for feeding a crowd. You can easily double it and make them the day before, or even freeze them to have on hand for busy mornings. Serve them alongside fresh fruit, yogurt parfaits, pancakes, or sliced avocado as part of a brunch buffet.

How To Make The Best Bagel Breakfast Sliders

  1. Cook the bacon until crispy in a large skillet, over medium-high heat. Transfer to a plate lined with a paper towel and wipe the skillet clean.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350 F and spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the milk, dry chives, dried minced onion, dried oregano, salt, and pepper until frothy.
  4. Heat the skillet over medium heat, melt one tbsp of butter, and scramble the eggs until fully cooked.
  5. Cut the bagels in half and spread the bottom halves with cream cheese. Place them on the greased baking dish. Divide the scrambled eggs evenly over them, sprinkle the shredded cheddar over the eggs, place one slice of bacon over the cheese (I cut them in half and placed two halves for each bagel), and place the bagel tops over the bacon.

Melt the remaining 3 tbsp butter and mix it with the onion powder. Brush each bagel with butter and sprinkle sesame and poppy seeds on top. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the bagels are lightly toasted.

How To Prevent Sliders From Getting Soggy?

Make sure the eggs are fully cooked and not watery. If you are adding extra veggies, make sure the eggs and veggies have as little moisture as possible.

Can I Make The Sliders Ahead Of Time?

Yes, you can. I made them the night before and kept them in the fridge covered with plastic wrap. You can also wrap each one with parchment paper, place them in a freezer bag, and freeze them for up to 3 months.

How Can I Make By Sliders Healthier?

You can do several things:

  • Use whole wheat bagels
  • Instead of bacon, you can use turkey deli meat
  • Low-fat cheese to lower the fat and calorie content
