Cook the meat along with the onions, bell pepper, and garlic in a large skillet over medium-high heat until fully cooked. Preheat the oven to 350 F.
To the meat, add the diced tomatoes (drained), Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper to taste. Continue cooking until most of the liquid has evaporated, about 5-7 mins.
Without separating them, slice the buns in half and place the bottom half in a 9x13-inch baking dish. Add 1 cup of shredded cheddar evenly on top of the bun bottoms and bake them for 5 minutes or until the cheese has melted (only the bottoms).
Spoon the meat mixture over the melted cheese, and sprinkle the remaining cup of cheese evenly over the meat.
Place ½ strip of cooked crispy bacon over each bun and place the top of the buns over the bacon.
Mix the ingredients for the glaze in a microwave safe dish and microwave until the butter has melted.
Drizzle the glaze evenly over the top of the buns, sprinkle them with sesame seeds, and bake uncovered, for 25 mins.
