Ingredients

  • 5 cups green cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup carrots, shredded
  • ½ cup onion, chopped
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

Instructions

  • Place the cabbage, carrots, onion, eggs, spices, and ground beef in a large bowl. Mix until combined.
  • Add the breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper, and mix until well combined.
  • Line a baking tray with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 425 F. Brush the parchment paper with oil.
  • Spread the mixture into the tray evenly and bake for 30 mins.
  • Remove from the oven and sprinkle the shredded mozzarella on top. Bake for 15 more minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve hot.
