Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1 ½ tsp tsp salt
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp dry minced onion
  • 1- 12 oz beer
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  • Grase and flour a loaf pan, and preheat the oven to 375.
  • In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, dry minced onion, and beer until well combined, but not overmixed.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  • Evenly pour the butter over the batter, and bake for one hour.
  • Let the bread cool in the pan for 20 minutes, then unmold.
