Ingredients

  • 2 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • cup grated onion (juice included)
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce (your favorite)
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper or to taste
  • 1 tsp ground mustard

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients inside the crockpot making sure everything is well combined.
  • Cook on high for 3 hours, or on low for 5.
  • Once the chicken is cooked, shred it using two forks and mix it with the sauce.

Notes

  • Make sure the chicken breasts are well covered with the sauce before cooking them.
  • The best way to shred chicken is using two forks.
