Equipment

  • Measuring cup
  • Spoon
  • Large rectangular airtight container with lid

Ingredients

  • 1-16 oz box saltine crackers
  • 1 cup avocado oil (or your favorite oil)
  • 1-1 oz packet ranch dressing mix
  • 2 ½ tbsp crushed red pepper flakes (you can start with less and add more later if needed)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  • Stand your crackers upright in an airtight container in lines (like dominoes).
  • Mix together the avocado oil, ranch dressing mix, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes in a small bowl.
  • Pour the prepared oil mixture evenly over the crackers (continue mixing so it doesn’t separate). One cup of oil is plenty to coat the crackers entirely.
  • Place the lid on and flip the container every 3 minutes for about 15, slightly shaking the container so all the crackers get fully covered in the olive mixture. Store in an airtight container or zipper bag for up to 5 days.

Notes

For extra crunch (absolutely optional!) bake them, in a single layer, at 250 F for about 20 minutes after marinating. Serve them alongside your favorite dips, they will be a hit at your next gathering!
