How Long Does It Take To Make Breakfast Pizza?
In about 30-35 mins you can have this dish at the table by following these simple steps:
- Par-bake the pizza crust: unroll the pizza dough onto a baking sheet (previously greased with cooking spray) and spread it using your hands until it covers the whole sheet. Poke it all over with a fork and par-bake it for 7 mins in a 425 F oven.
- Scramble the eggs: in a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, minced onion, dry parsley, salt, and pepper. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat, and scramble the eggs until light and fluffy.
- Assemble the pizza:
– spread the country sausage gravy over the par-baked pizza crust
– spoon the scrambled eggs evenly over the gravy
– sprinkle the bacon bits and shredded cheddar evenly over the eggs - Bake the pizza for 8-10 minutes until the edges are golden brown and the cheese has melted.

- 1- 15 oz can Libby’s Country Sausage Gravy
- 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
- ½ cup real bacon bits
Instructions
- Par-bake the pizza crust: unroll the pizza dough onto a baking sheet (previously greased with cooking spray) and spread it using your hands until it covers the whole sheet. Poke it all over with a fork and par-bake it for 7 mins in a 425 F oven.
- Scramble the eggs: in a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, minced onion, dry parsley, salt, and pepper. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat, and scramble the eggs until light and fluffy.
- Assemble the pizza:
- spread the country sausage gravy over the par-baked pizza crust
- spoon the scrambled eggs evenly over the gravy
- sprinkle the bacon bits and shredded cheddar evenly over the eggs
- Bake the pizza for 8-10 minutes until the edges are golden brown and the cheese has melted.
Notes
- When scrambling the eggs, do not cook them too long or they will dry up in the oven. It is better to undercook them a little bit and let them finish cooking in the oven.
- If you don’t have real bacon bits, cook bacon and crumble it yourself.
- I recommend you shred the cheddar cheese yourself. Pre-shredded cheese doesn’t melt like freshly shredded cheese.
