To make the marinade for the chicken, you will need:
- Natural Greek yogurt
- Olive oil
- Minced garlic
- Lemon juice
- Spices: cumin, coriander, paprika, and oregano
To make the Tzatziki:
- Grated English cucumber
- Natural Greek yogurt
- Lemon juice
- Minced garlic
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper
How Do You Make a Gyro?
- Marinate the chicken: mix all ingredients for the marinade in a large bowl and stir in the chicken thigh filets. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight.
