How To Make Sweet Roll Cheesecake Danishes

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 F and place a 9×13-inch baking dish with 2 tbsp of unsalted butter in the oven while it preheats.
  2. While the butter is melting in the oven, separate the rolls and cut an X into the top of each roll. Be careful not to cut all the way to the bottom. Using your finger or the handle of a wooden spoon, widen the hole carefully. Place the rolls in the baking dish.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon and pour evenly over the rolls.
  4. Make the cream cheese filling: beat the softened cream cheese with the egg and sugar until smooth.
