Ingredients

  • 1-12 ct package Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
  • 2 tablespoons butter (to grease the baking dish)
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 F and place a 9x13-inch baking dish with 2 tbsp of unsalted butter in the oven while it preheats.
  • While the butter is melting in the oven, separate the rolls and cut an X into the top of each roll. Be careful not to cut all the way to the bottom. Using your finger or the handle of a wooden spoon, widen the hole carefully. Place the rolls in the baking dish.
  • In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon and pour evenly over the rolls.
  • Make the cream cheese filling: beat the softened cream cheese with the egg and sugar until smooth.
  • Place the filling in a ziplock bag and cut one of the corners to use it as a piping bag. Pipe the frosting directly into the hole in each roll.
  • Bake the rolls for 15 minutes and serve immediately.
