Ingredients

  • 8 whole wheat bread slices
  • ½ cup salted butter
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F.
  • Mix the unsalted butter, sugar, ground cinnamon, and vanilla extract in a bowl until well combined.
  • Divide the butter mixture between the bread slices and place them in a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10 minutes, and then broil for a few more minutes until the sugar is bubbly and the bread is toasted. Watch it closely because it can easily burn.
