Equipment

  • Food processor (or mixing bowl with fork)
  • Baking sheet
  • Butter knife

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 stick garlic & herb butter
  • ½ cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ¼ cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • Freshly ground pepper to taste
  • 10 slices thick white bread

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 F.
  • Place the butter, cheddar, Monterey Jack, Parmesan, dried parsley, salt, and pepper in the bowl of your food processor. Pulse until well combined.
  • Spread one side of the bread slices with unsalted butter and place the slices butter-side down on the baking sheet.
  • Carefully spred the other side of the bread slices with the garlic butter and cheese mixture.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the cheese is melted. For a crispier toast, turn on the broiler and cook for 30-60 seconds until the cheese is slightly brown.
