What Goes Into Korean Ground Beef?

To make this delectable savory beef dish, you only need 7 main ingredients:

  • Sesame seed oil
  • Lean ground beef
  • Minced garlic
  • Freshly grated ginger
  • Brown sugar
  • Low-sodium soy sauce
  • Sriracha

How to Make Korean Ground Beef Healthy?

First, use only the finest quality lean ground beef. I like to use 93% lean ground beef and discard any fat that may still render after cooking it.

Also, if you want to go low-carb, use less sugar or substitute the sugar for monk fruit sweetener. Low-sodium soy sauce is healthier than regular soy sauce.

How Do You Serve Korean Ground Beef?

The best way to serve Korean Ground Beef is in a bowl over freshly cooked rice. You can use white or brown rice, to make it extra special add pickled veggies like cucumber and carrots. As a finishing touch, I like to add sliced green onions on top.
