  2. Into the bowl place the chicken cubes and veggies. Stir well, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 30 mins to overnight.
  3. Make the skewers by alternating the chicken cubes with the veggies until all are used. For example: chicken, red onion, bell pepper, chicken, zucchini, red onion, and so on and so forth.

  • 1 orange bell pepper cut into 1-inch squares
  • 6 metal or wood skewers

Instructions

  • Combine the honey, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, black pepper, paprika, and red pepper flakes in a large bowl and mix until the honey is completely dissolved. Reserve ¼ of the marinade for basting. Preheat the grill or the oven to 425 F.

Notes

  • If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 mins before using, so they don’t burn while grilling
  • Save some of the marinade for basting the skewers while grilling for an added touch of flavor
  • More marinating time = more flavor!
